The two year term for all elected position in the Local is coming to and end. As such, we will be holding a special GMM on Tuesday February 27, 2024 at 18:30 for the sole purpose of elections. This meeting will be held virtually.
Since we have numerous stewards, officers, committee members, and delegates to elect, it has been decided to have this election as as stand alone event in order to reduce the duration of the meeting. A future GMM will be called by the newly elected LOC to present the budget, provide officer reports, review old business, and present any new business to the membership.
In order to vote or hold a position, you are required to be a member in good standing. (i.e. a signed member). Pre registration for this meeting is required. If you wish to attend, please email your name to [email protected]. Once your status is confirmed, an email with the Zoom link will be provided prior to the meeting.
A full list of positions will be provided to the membership prior to the meeting. Anyone who wishes to stand for a position will need to be nominated. If you cannot be in attendance but wish to be nominated, you may accept this position in advance in writing or by email to your nominator.
